THE RULES OF THE GAME
  • Place all the cards with personal pronouns on the board with their names down to the board in one column. Do the same with  the affirmative or negative forms of the verb to be in the second column.

  • Children come to the board and choose two cards (one from the first column and the second one with the other one), if they match the pronoun with a proper form of the verb to be, they get a point for the team. If not, they put these cards on the same place with their names down to the board.

  • The team which has the most points wins the game.

HAVE FUN:)

TO BE - ON THE PLATE

PREPARATION
  • prepare a paper plate, divide it into eight pieces. Write the personal pronouns (I, you, he,she,it,we,you, they) on each piece of the paper,
  • prepare eight clothes pegs with positive forms of the veb ,,to be'' (am,is,are)

THE RULES OF THE GAME
  • Two players can play this game. The third person is referee and he or she controls the players' answers and counts the points.
  • The players should put the plate in the middle of the desk.
  • The clothes pegs must be placed on the desk in such a way that students will not see the positive forms of the verb ,,to be''.
  • One player chooses the clothes peg and he or she says this form aloud and puts the clip on the proper part of the plate. The referee checks if it is a correct answer, if yes, the person gets a point, if not, the clip must be put back on  the table and the player doesn't get a point. Then, the second player does the same as the first one.
  • The game finishes when all clothes pegas are put on the plate and the winner is player who has more points.
